But I wonder why they quit making them, when they were stellar IEM’s. The only downside I could find with them, was the cable and ear tips that they came with, but no big deal as I replaced them anyways on things I like.

Penon still has them at the full price, and there are listings on Ebay at the clear out prices. But yes, they are in very limited supplies now.
