Photographed & Measured: Sennheiser IE 300 vs. IE 400 PRO

The $300 Sennheiser IE 300 (above left) is the company’s latest mid-price iem to be released in the Americas and Europe in March 2021 (out in Asia since mid January 2021). It is based sonically on the $350 Sennheiser IE 400 PRO, the best of their PRO series imo…which is evident from their superimposed frequency responses graphs. Both are single-dynamic-driver earphones.

My written review of the Sennheiser IE 300.
My VIDEO review of the Sennheiser IE 300.

This photo series focuses on comparing the physical properties of both models’ earpieces. The PRO series has a proprietary connector whereas the new Sennheiser IE 300 features a recessed MMCX connector.

My detailed analysis and full review of the Sennheiser IE 300 to follow. You find my in-depth Sennheiser IE 400 PRO review here.

The Sennheiser IE 300 was kindly provided by Sennheiser USA/Canada for my review. Thank you very much.
